Growing  up in Covington, in the 1950s, there were NO art opportunities. Now the town is full of Art, everywhere ! look.

 

I majored in Art, received a BA, at Queens University. Worked in graphic design, in NYC. Lived on a Greek island for 15 years.

Back  in Georgia in 1986, opened Upstairs Art Studio, with 200 students (children and adults).

 

Joined Southern  Heartland, then opened my own gallery,Van Go's Studio, representing 90 artists. 2 years at Wildart, now back at SHAG. Was artist in residence  at 5 Newton County schools.
