Cindy describes herself as a “Representational Impressionistic Colorist,” where the focus is to see and paint the relationship of color, light and shadow.

She primarily paints in oils, layering pure color with either a brush or palette knife. She often completes the scene with bits of colorful stained glass and beads in a

mosaic pattern.

Cindy has an award-winning background, First Place In Florida for two consecutive years, 3rd Place in a National Competition, 5 First Place and Best Of Show awards, as well as honorable mentions Southern Heartland Gallery and additional area art

Her greatest honor was when she was selected to design and make the Christmas ornaments for the State of Georgia, in 2012, by Governor Nathan Deal.

Cindy has a degree in commercial Art from Robert Morgan Technical Institute and she has honed her painting skills with classes – Miami Dade College. She discovered her love of color and light from numerous workshops with Susan Sarback and Camille Prezwodek.

Her art is currently exhibited in three McDonalds Restaurants in Georgia and in Southern Heartland Gallery, Covington Georgia. She has been juried into numerous art shows across the nation and her work has been collected by individuals, corporations nationally and internationally.
